Overview

The Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) is a trusted advisor - helping translate business goals into people strategies that strengthen performance, culture, and leadership effectiveness. This role partners closely with leaders to anticipate organizational and talent needs. Acting as a connector between leaders and the broader OneHR team, HRBP’s make sure the right expertise, the right resources, and the right solutions are utilized efficiently to support business outcomes.  HRBPs do not replace managers in leading people or make people-specific decisions - they equip, advise, and influence leaders to lead effectively.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Consults business leaders on individual employee performance management strategies
  • Regularly meet with HR function leads, business leaders and employees to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Advise managers and employees on sensitive employee relations matters, including grievance and arbitration procedures, or other corrective actions regarding employee performance
  • Investigate complaints regarding alleged employee discrimination, harassment, or general employee misconduct and improper interpersonal behavior; facilitate mediations where appropriate
  • Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to improve employee job performance and contribution to organizational performance
  • Oversee the individual performance of direct reports
  • Analyze data trends from employee surveys or other sources to gain insight into the Employee Experience, employee engagement, productivity, or attrition/retention (eNPS, engagement surveys, headcount reports etc.)
  • Collaborate with leaders and employees to develop solutions, programs and policies that improve the Employee Experience, employee engagement, increase productivity, and retention based on identified data trends
  • Coach leaders in the use of leader-led engagement practices to optimize employee communications and engagement
  • Advise on integration of proper change management measures into employee communications
  • Coordinate with leaders to develop and implement succession planning and workforce planning; identify top performers in the organization
  • Mentor and contribute to overall career development of direct reports
  • Identify training and professional development needs for business units and individual employees, including determining the need for executive coaching
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of professional development tools and plans for employees at all levels
  • Conduct one-on-one executive coaching sessions where appropriate
  • Assist with new employee onboarding and training for direct reports
  • Conduct and coordinate performance reviews for employees at various levels
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business, psychology or similar discipline preferred and/or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years’ Business Partner or HR Consulting experience with a geographically dispersed employee population
  • Experience supporting Professional Services highly preferred
  • Experience managing multiple human resource disciplines such as compensation, workforce diversity, organizational diagnosis, employee engagement/relations, performance management, compliance
  • Experience with Workday HRMS, eNPS, and Prosci Change Management preferred
  • Expert communication skills both verbal and written, strong work ethic and ability to be dynamic and evolve in an ever changing landscape
  • Relevant industry experience a plus
