As a University Relations Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering Bohler’s national university engagement and early-career recruitment efforts across the country. You’ll be at the forefront of identifying emerging talent, creating meaningful touchpoints with students, and guiding them from their first career conversation through to full-time success. 

 

This role is all about the connection between students and opportunity, between education and experience, and between campus and career.   Regular travel, with some overnight, to college campuses and events should be expected during the fall and spring college recruiting seasons.

 

What You'll Do: 

  • Oversee and coordinate University Relations Team recruiting efforts to provide support to team members and service to candidates
  • Process candidate offers to maintain prompt time to fill
  • Maintain correspondence with prospective students and hiring managers to create professional network and relationships
  • Attend campus career fairs, networking events, and presentations to advance Bohler’s network
  • Engage with connections, potential candidates, and other parties to build recruiting network
  • Source college students via recruitment channels to fill open positions within the organization
  • Coordinate internship program events for intern development
  • Conduct intern new hire check-ins and exit interviews to provide insight on internship program functioning
  • Post and monitor open internship requisitions on the firm’s website to keep openings up to date
  • Oversee intern orientation and onboarding
  • Monitor competitive intern trends, conversion rates to inform best courses of action
  • Collaborate with HR leaders to maintain and build the firm’s internship recruitment strategy
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

What You Bring:

  • Bachelors Degree in Communications, Psychology, Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the full lifecycle talent acquisition process
  • Ability to balance a large number of requisitions across multiple offices and disciplines, in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ATS software preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively to campus career events across the country
  • Ability to stand for the duration of career fairs and lift up to 25 lbs of event materials
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service orientation
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and handle confidential documents and information with discretion and in a professional manner
  • Self-starter with strong multi-tasking, time management, and follow-up skills
  • Proactive approach and ability to prioritize
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining consistent work flow and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrate quality and efficiency when performing tasks
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
