Our NJ Region is looking for a Chief Engineer - QA/QC who embodies this purpose. This individual could be located in any of our 3 NJ offices (Warren, Red Bank or Ridgewood):
What You'll Do:
- Provide high-level strategy for unique design projects
- Internal Quality Assurance / Quality Control aspects during the project design and construction process:
- Ensure compliance with all internal Quality Control processes
- Completion of Quality Checklists for design
- Reviewing site/civil design plans and calculations throughout the project life cycle
- Detailing consistency
- Constructability review
- Assessment / improvement / maintenance of QA/QC procedure
- Providing recommendations on individual projects to mitigate risk for our clients throughout design and construction.
- Assist design team in support of construction administration services for design projects
- Be a resource for project teams, answer questions, provide one-on-one training and oversight when needed for staff
- Complies with all policies and standard
- Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- 15+ years of experience in site/civil design
- Proficient with New Jersey land development procedures, regulations, and codes
- A passion for, and experience with, site design, creative problem-solving, and mentoring others
- Attention to detail
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
Salary $125,000 - $175,000. Total compensation will be determined by other considerations such as experience, qualifications and educational background. This position is eligible for potential annual bonus earnings.
