Senior Director of Human Resources - Bohler

 

At Bohler, we empower the ambitious to become the accomplished. We are looking for a Senior Director, Human Resources to lead and shape our HR Business Partner (HRBP) function firmwide. As the senior-most HRBP leader, this individual will serve as a strategic partner to the Chief People Officer and business leaders, while directly managing a high-performing team of HR Business Partners.

 

This is a unique opportunity to drive enterprise-wide people strategies, elevate the employee experience, and serve as the embedded HR leader for Bohler’s Operational Services Team (OST), supporting our internal corporate functions. This role is ideal for a transformational leader who can blend strategy with execution to align people, performance, and business outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

As Senior Director of Human Resources, you will:

  • Champion and optimize a firmwide HR Business Partner (HRBP) model aligned to business goals and the employee experience.
  • Act as a thought partner to the Chief People Officer and senior leadership on people strategy, enterprise planning, and HR initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of HR Business Partners (HRBPs), building consistency, impact, and engagement across Divisions.
  • Personally serve as the HR Business Partner to OST leadership, providing hands-on guidance on performance management, organizational design, and talent planning.
  • Drive enterprise employee engagement efforts using tools like eNPS and engagement analytics.
  • Partner with Talent Development to align leadership pipelines, career paths, and succession planning with business needs.
  • Serve as the HR lead for organizational change efforts and transitions.
  • Handle high-risk or high-impact employee relations cases, particularly within the Operational Services Team (OST).
  • Elevate firmwide performance management through routines and leader coaching.
  • Collaborate across the HR team to refine core HR processes and improve operational effectiveness.

 

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles, strategic HRBP exposure, and proven success in driving organizational growth.
  • Proven success leading a geographically distributed HRBP team.
  • Strong business acumen with experience partnering with corporate or internal service teams in a strategic HR capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in coaching senior leaders and resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Skilled in influencing, cross-functional collaboration, and leading change.
  • Demonstrated high emotional intelligence, strong judgment, and exceptional communication skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred).
