We are looking for a Project Manager of Construction Administration who embodies this purpose and will partner with our design teams and clients across our Mid-Atlantic Division to provide construction-related support and expertise.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the construction administration process from precon through closeout
  • Provide construction oversight and perspective throughout design
  • Act as the main liaison between construction and design
  • Become the POC for client, construction management, and contractor
  • Take ownership of, and ensure execution of all construction administration-related tasks:
  • Site & project evaluation- identify risks and challenges
  • Phasing and constructability analysis and support
  • Review and respond to RFIs
  • Review shop drawings and submittals
  • Perform site visits and observations
  • Attend precon and course of construction meetings
  • Punch list walks and memo production
  • Create budgets/proposals and manage costs for CA
  • Project Management/Leadership, including final oversight of initial project scope and project proposal for large scale, complex projects
  • Client management, including conducting and participating in client meetings
  • Financial management, including monitoring project P&Ls
  • Responsible for mentoring and coaching staff

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related fields strongly preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in sitework related residential, commercial, and/or industrial construction management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and able to manage many projects simultaneously
  • Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgement, creativity and innovation
  • Ability to effectively discuss project issues with clients and reviewing agencies
