Sr. Project Engineer, Construction Administration

Our Raleigh office is looking for a Sr. Project Engineer, Construction Administration who embodies this purpose.

We have a Technical Resource Group that works closely with our project teams to maintain alignment with CAD standards, QA/QC, workflow, technical training, onboarding, overall engineering and construction administration oversight. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide construction related support and expertise to design teams and clients.
• Act as the liaison between construction and design
• Work directly with and become POC for contractors
• Perform the following construction related services:
  • Review and respond to RFIs
  • Shop Drawings and submittal review
  • Site visits and observations
  • Precon and course of construction meeting attendance
  • Utility coordination
  • Permit coordination
  • Punch lists

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters’ Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related fields
• 4+ years of construction management or land development design experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and able to manage many projects at the same time
• Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation
• Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the design team
• Ability to effectively discuss project issues with clients and reviewing agencies
