Our Charlotte, NC office is looking for a Survey Manager who embodies this purpose.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

As a Survey Manager at Bohler, you will:

  • Direct a team of survey professionals working on multiple large-scale projects
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate survey operations, including project managers, staff surveyors, technicians, and field operations
  • Develop efficient and customized solutions for projects of any scale
  • Personnel management, proposal generation, and business development
  • Manage master contracts including fee estimation, project set-up, and execution of work
  • Prepare work plans, assemble project teams, delegate tasks and ensure compliance with scope and timely completion
  • Prepare client invoices, deliverables, and project-related correspondence
  • Responsible for accuracy, timeliness, and financial performance of assigned projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or related field required
  • 15+ years of experience required with a minimum of:
    • 5 years in a personnel management capacity
    • 5 years in a business development capacity
  • SC PLS required (or the ability to obtain within one year if already an NC PLS). Dual SC/NC PLS preferred. 
  • Licensure in other jurisdictions is a plus
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
  • Successfully oversee the production of ALTA, Topographic, Boundary, utility and route survey
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead staff, think critically, and provide support to multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to prepare and review technical proposals
