    Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineers, Inc. is an affiliate of the Bohler Engineering group of companies. Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineers, Inc. provides specialized Civil Engineering Consulting Services in the field of Traffic and Transportation Engineering. Our firm has completed thousands of projects throughout the Eastern United States for a variety of corporate, private, institutional, and municipal/public clients. The team is headed by seasoned Professional Engineers with over 100 years of combined experience, and is supported by expert staff positioned throughout our vast service area. Our offices provide local hands-on knowledge of access criteria, design standards, specifications and permitting requirements.

    Responsibilities

    -Traffic Signal/Electrical Construction Design

    -Traffic Control Plan/MPT Design

    -Geometric Roadway Design (alignment, profile, grading, drainage, signage. striping, etc.) 

     

     

    Qualifications

    -BS in Civil Engineering

    -Strong ability to work as a team-player 

    -Competent Skills with:

    • AutoCAD
    • Civil 3D
    • Grading/Drainage design
    • AutoTURN

    -7 Years Full-Time Experience

    -PE Preferred

    -Ability to serve as a resource for junior staff 

    -Solid understanding of AASHTO

     

    Preferred experience with the following: 

    • Microstation 
    • Experience with NJDOT, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, and PennDOT a plus 
    • Experience with traffic impact studies and analysis
