Overview

Bohler Engineering’s Survey team provides the experience and resources to develop efficient and customized solutions for projects of any scale. The team’s impressive project portfolio demonstrates our proven track record of surveying and project coordination for a variety of clients. 

Responsibilities

  • All phases of field work including:  Boundary & Topographical Surveys; Construction Layout; As-Built surveys and utilization of a Robotic Trimble total stations with Trimble TSC3 Data Collectors
  • Field calculations and sketching
  • Downloading and compilation of field data sketches; and checking raw field data
  • Quality control of all survey documents, including field notes, sketches, plans, etc.
  • Supervision and maintenance of company vehicle, cellular phone for business related purposes and survey equipment after completion of orientation period
  • Supervision, preventative maintenance and repair of survey field equipment
  • Assist in staff recruitment
  • Occasional road trips with overnight stays, as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent 
  • College coursework a plus including strong math and computer skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and a good decision maker
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience surveying in field utilizing Robotic Total Station with data collectors
  • Preferred equipment: Robotic Trimble total stations with Trimble TSC3 Data Collectors, Trimble GPS
  • Ability to work robotically and/or independently
  • Ability to travel
  • Reliable transportation is required when company provided vehicles are not available and employees must maintain a valid driver’s license to use company provided vehicles
  • Employees are reimbursed according to applicable IRS regulations when using their personal vehicle on job related assignments
