Responsibilities

  • Partner with Project and Client Managers to coordinate business development strategies
  • Identify and develop relationships with clients, associations and business networks to grow awareness
  • Performance selling of engineering services across all company sectors
  • Work directly with Regional Director to develop leads, coordinate proposals and presentations in conjunction with the marketing team
  • Assist with client assignments, tracking and follow-up, and coordinating efforts
  • Research potential clients within an area, state, or region as related to overall strategy and report findings to Regional Director for strategy discussion and implementation plan
  • Meet with existing vendors and sub-consultants for lead generation 
  • Make initial calls to clients and engineers to inquire about/confirm leads
  • Assess potential partners for pursuits or for clients with relationship leverage
  • Assist the Regional Director with pursuit strategies including: 
    • Potential client research 
    • Existing relationship research 
  • Assist with special projects, internal strategies, and staff development 
  • Encourage and participate in business and community activities promoting Bohler’s services 
  • Serve as a company role model in business and in the community 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, English, or related field
  • 3-8 years' business development or marketing experience in an A/E/C environment preferred
  • High energy, creative, flexible, self-starter who is willing to work at a dynamic pace
  • Preference will be given to local candidates with local connections
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail oriented professional with a desire to simultaneously handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to identify and help develop strategic relationships with clients
  • Proven track record of selling services and maintaining long term client relationships
