  • Answering multi-line phones and directing calls
  • Greeting, announcing and directing visitors
  • Contacting and requesting courier service
  • Distributing incoming mail and packages
  • Sending and distributing faxes
  • Ordering office and kitchen supplies
  • Maintenance of common areas, such as conference rooms, kitchen, etc.
  • Document processing using MS Word and Excel
  • Proofing and editing copy
  • General administrative responsibilities including large format scanning and copying
  • Filing
  • Showing initiative and willingness to learn and grow with the company
  • Other duties as assigned


  • 1-2 years receptionist experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to handle confidential documents and information with discretion and in a professional manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent spelling, grammar and proof-reading abilities
  • Self-starter with strong multi-tasking and follow-up skills
  • Good time management skills with a proactive approach and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision & resolve issues independently based on project/company standards and verification of facts prior to releasing documents to client or outside agencies
  • Excellent customer service skills to represent the organization and provide service to clients, affiliates and outside agencies
  • Ability to quickly absorb new information and build on newly-acquired skills
