As Bohler continues to grow and expand, we are searching for an amazingly talented and motivated Landscape Architect to join an already established, Land Planning/Landscape Architecture design studio. This person would help lead and expand this practice across the Carolinas from our Charlotte location. You will play a role in further developing the studio practice and have the opportunity to work with a great team and great clients!


  • Apply diversified knowledge of land planning and landscape architecture principles and practices in broad areas and markets consisting primarily of private sector land development with some public sector work
  • Provide guidance in the overall design process including site analysis, master plannins, site plans, entitlements processes, construction documents and specifications
  • Coordinate the preparation of project documents with other external project partners inculding architectural, environmental, engineering, transportation, legal, regulatory agencies, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients on the design process and deliverables
  • Communicate with project team members, client representatives, review agencies and others as appropriate to the project
  • Review proposals and contracts; Active involvement in business development and client relationship building
  • Prepare project related correspondence as appropriate
  • Manage time effectively, have good organizational skills, and work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet project deadlines and client needs
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
  • 10-15 years of working experience in Land Planning and Landscape Architecture; Professional license preferred
  • Proven design and graphic skills with hand sketch capability, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and SketchUp preferred
  • High energy, strongly creative, flexible, self-starter who is willing to work at a dynamic pace
  • Ability to integrate seamlessly into and lead multi-disciplinary design teams
