Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineers, Inc. is an affiliate of the Bohler Engineering group of companies. Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineers, Inc. provides specialized Civil Engineering Consulting Services in the field of Traffic and Transportation Engineering. Our firm has completed thousands of projects throughout the Eastern United States for a variety of corporate, private, institutional, and municipal/public clients. The team is headed by seasoned Professional Engineers with over 100 years of combined experience, and is supported by expert staff positioned throughout our vast service area. Our offices provide local hands-on knowledge of access criteria, design standards, specifications and permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

-Business development and client management
-Financial performance
-Quality assurance and loss prevention
-Annual budgeting
-Workload and staff balancing
-Preparation of key technical proposals
-Monitoring of project budgets
-Staff supervision and scheduling of key projects
-CEQR and SEQRA Traffic/Transportation Analyses
-Traffic Signal/Electrical Construction Design
-Traffic Control Plan/MPT Design
-Geometric Roadway Design
-NYCDOT and NYSDOT Permitting
-Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

-BS in Civil Engineering and must be a PE (NY preferred)
-15+ years of experience managing projects and traffic impact studies for land development projects
-10+ years in a staff management capacity
-Excellent organizational and delegation skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-New York/New Jersey metropolitan area experience is strongly desired, including a solid understanding of AASHTO, NJDOT traffic related design publications and specifications
-Must have proven ability to win and complete work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
