As Bohler continues to grow and expand, we are searching for an amazingly talented and motivated Landscape Architect to join an already established, well-oiled design studio. This person would help lead and expand this practice to our Boston location.

 

You will help develop our landscape design staff, establish project costs and objectives, and drive the design process. This includes everything from concept plans, construction documents and specifications, and presentations. Come do what you do best and have fun doing it!

Responsibilities

  • Apply diversified knowledge of planning and landscape architecture principles and practices in broad areas
  • Provide guidance in the overall landscape design process including concept plans, construction documents and specifications, and presentations
  • Coordinate the preparation of project drawings, exhibits, and calculations with other architects, engineers, designers and technicians
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients on the landscape design packages
  • Communicate with project team members, client representatives, review agencies and others as appropriate to the project
  • Review proposals and contracts; Active involvement in business development
  • Prepare project related correspondence as appropriate
  • Manage time effectively, have good organizational skills, and work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet project deadlines and client needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
  • 7-10 years of working experience in Landscape Architecture; RLA preferred
  • Production experience with AutoCAD (Civil3D), Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and SketchUp preferred
  • High energy, creative, flexible, self-starter who is willing to work at a dynamic pace
  • Ability to integrate seamlessly into and lead both multi-disciplinary landscape design teams, as well as, urban design/planning teams strongly preferred
