Responsibilities

  • Meeting with clients
    • initial project scoping, proposal preparation
    • staff utilization analyses
    • managing the production process
    • coordinate permitting approval process
    • supervising project closeout towards procurement of the building permit
  • Staff development and mentoring, business development which involves attendance at marketing functions, business dinners/events, and cross marketing with other Bohler offices
  • Maintain presence and leadership in land development service area through involvement in civic, political, professional and business organizations
  • Collection of A/R’s, efficiency evaluations, profit evaluations and all basic financial management for your projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BS in Civil Engineering and must be a PE
  • Experience in civil/site design including:
    • concept site layout
    • subdivision design
    • zoning research and analysis
    • extensive knowledge of site grading
    • storm water management design
    • utility design
    • regulatory permitting experience
    • project management capabilities
    • good delegation skill
  • 10+ years of experience (10+ years of experience in civil site design and project management with  2+ years in a staff management capacity)
  • Experience with making public presentations and client management
  • Proposal preparation, budget tracking and forecasting workloads and staff development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage many projects at the same time
